Not so expensive because people sell turquoises for 500gp each. But one thing makes it extremely expensive is that you get maybe only 10% of the time the ssi 5% property when crafting. And usually the other mods are not very good. My best so far is ssi 5% dci 14 and I have crafted about 500 rings.

ah. whan i read uoguide, i misunderstood it as it's always ssi + di... :/ yes it's mega-extremely expensive and almost stupid crafting.
