Lockpicking - Hardest skill in the Shard!?

Gained approx 95 skill by carpent/thinkered chest's. Ok, now am in trobule, as there's not even one dungeon chest spawned or so.. So as a good noob, i started working .. for about two weeks i dig like 28 tresure maps, and lockpicked around 25 5lvl paragon chest.. so far 0.9 skill gained not sure maybe less am 95.9 now. It' seems immposible right!?

So am little bored tresure hunter.
Where's the catch?

As far as I can remember, back in the days when I played pvm, craft and other stuff, there were chests in felluca destard, despise. Dunno about other dungeons. On those you should be able to GM the skill easily. Imho they weren't all the same level, so the you need the highest level ones.

yeah good ol' times.. but as i sad "..there's not even one dungeon chest spawned or so.." did check allready feluca/trammy dungeons.. no chests..

I did even try getting in to Faction and suicide myself hoping i will rise when my skills are lowered.. not a chance (that was an ol' bug tough )

I had read.....

I read somewhere on stractics (I can only assume the thieves forum) that you can now gain LP up to GM off of GM Boxes. If not, sorry

But anyways, almost a 1 point gain off of 28 attemps with the skill is fairly steady...I'd keep up that route. Save a large quantity of maps and give er hell

The bad thing is that GM Box's take me up to 95.6 and now am 95.9 so the hole work was for about some 0.3 pins ..

so is "Lockpicking" the hardest skill?

I just refuse to belive that the GM Lockpicker's in the shard are taking their master skill with Paragon chests (5 lvl only) or even digging tresure's ..

Is there anyone old player to say: Ware the chest locked around the world before a time? If that is so .. it's a bit buzzy and unfair

there arent Dungeons Chest actived so you must use paragon and treasure...

Go to the Yew library in trammel (a house near by the Yew market) and search for a green runebook called "prigionieri" (prisoner)
inside u will find about 9 spots where they spawns with some mobs.
go there,
kill all mobs guarding the prisoner,
and then open the tresure chest.

u will increase ur lockpiking skill much quicker

That was an real quest.. and i failed.. i meen finding the green book..
becouse Yew don't really have a library maybe (and can't reconize anything there as a market *maybe the house's with the shops or the center or? and am a bit lost.

Kill me, but i can't remember even one camp where prisoners spawn. If you meen these camps? I assume your talking for player house with filed runebook with marked camps locations *that will be handy, but! are you sure these chest can gain me skill?!? i dunno but i think i can open them even with magery!?

The library is a bit North, Northeast from yew gate. Not too far. Trammel of course.

the name of some house is "library" ? I just found one shop and few private house's in north.. north east .. east up to the sea .. right to the river.. down to the path,

There is a rune library...

There is a rune library next to the bagball field in luna. It's a large vendor house. It also has the prisoners

14 prisoner chests 0.3, sounds better. Anyone knows what's the approx respawn time?

30/40 min. per chest. (or something like that if i m not too wrong )

I'm doing run after run on 12 chest's since we speak about it.
My skill is 96.9/ even opened a few para (5lvl').
My Final opinion .. Taming is just like a song compared to lock's
alttrough you can find tamble creature everywhere.. but treasure chests not.

Lockpicking is the harddest skill in the shard!
