LUCK and DOOM Gauntlet - is it really necessary? Post Your oppinions

Hi!
I'm getting a little bit confused with that. Is it really necessary to kill the bosses with/without luck. There are always like 10 - 20 people in Doom. Does one really needs high LUCK (above 1000)?

I have read stratics and the italian thread here (using altavista translation of course ) but haven't found the real answer.

Please give me Your own oppinions about DOOM gauntlet in connection with LUCK. Do You really get more arties with luck? Or is it useless when there are 20 people running like mad there?

if you ask me I would say that only luck what works in there is your own luck in real life Luck may help you to get artifacts if you kill bosses alone... but if there is that 20 mad mans/girls? hitting boss, change of artifact is common. anyone who can loot that corpse has a change to get artifact. this my new account is 28 days old and I have dropped totem, divine, ornament, insanity, ornate and bane with 125 luck

omg, i lasted about 6 months only for one frostbringer (( and ironically i took it when i entered the gauntltlet with the 0-luck pg -_-

so: as lubba said, luck is totally useless... if you are NOT the pg that brings most damage to the boss.
otherwise, if you are the one, you can only improve the % of artifact outcome, which has to be divided within the pgs who achieved right loot.

I seem to have lots of luck in doom, too bad it's wrong kind of luck, bad luck... I think luck is not needed on a character, it's your own that counts.

Yeah same on me Lots of time in doom one arty. But In my case I went to doom with 1200 luck and I got 2 artys same day ;> So ill continue dooming with luck.

hm, i would say luck dont matter if ur with lotsa ppl, BUT
what would u wear if u dont have luck? 70 res still dont make lots of difference because u will still die in a couple of megapica seconds xD
with 1000luck, i stil cant get artifacts from paragons this sucks

the luck is not utile the mini boss have dropped at me some arte whit 0 luck
