PvP: Scribe MAGE or Parry MAGE???

What is better choice in Your oppinion for a PvP mage:

SCRIBE MAGE:

120 Magery
120 Evaluate Intelligence
120 Resist Spells
120 Meditation
120 Wrestle/Swords/Fencing/Macing/
100 Inscription

or

PARRY MAGE:

120 Magery
120 Evaluate Intelligence
120 Resist Spells

Please give Your personal oppinions about that PvP templates...

The second, but dex 80, and if u got high mana reg put parring 120 medit 100

With 80 dex it is hard to have high int + some str of course...
I think Mana Leech weapon + high Mana Regen armor is a solution in that case...

But the first template one looks also nice

Hit Mana Leech is useless on a mage ^^
I was a mage scribe, but now I'm parrier and I'm feeling very better I have 60 dex and str 110, because with medit 120, lmc 40 and a lot of mr I can cast spells forever, even with int 70.
Maybe whit the pub 38 I will turn back in to mage scribe

I tend to favor the parry mage - but there are downfalls to your suggested template. You need the dex for stamina as parrying is based around this - my suggestion would be to lower meditation - with the right eq you can get around this being lowered and you can put the additional points saved into having higher parry, thus your parrying will be more efficient. Against 115/120 fighting skill characters, having the higher parry could mean the difference between life and death and you need all the advantages you can get.

I still love my nox mage, although for PvP - poisoning for mages is pretty much a waste of points now - but if you are doing champs it can be quite handy if you work solo.

I suppose it all depends what type of PvP fighting you are going to do - gate fighters and roamers require different needs and pretty much these days you don't find many solo fighters going around so you'll never get a 1 v 1 fight.

Goodfela probably You are right ... but I'm a newbee in PvP and would like to make a char... maybe this Scribe Mage will be a good choice... I do not know....

But about magestuff that parry is very handy in pvp battles against warriors and more
But inscription is good to but only when have good spdi but stil parry would be more better i think

when i count all those skils together i come to 800 skil points . the max is 700 when having an account not so long to max 720 when acount is 480 days old. those 5 skil to 120 is already 600 skil points . i duno what but if u are a haxer it would propably go

If you take a weapon skill its hard to get gear what allows you to take 60dex (30% block change) with Tome is bit easier. If you have mana rege over 10 meditation is not reguired so you can take ninj/inscribe or what ever you like.

Keffu -should I take WRESTLING instead of MACE??? + PARRY
Is TOME OF KNOWLEDGE work (lower mana, lrc, +magery) only WHEN HAVING IT IN MY HANDS???
