Which PATCH to use???

Hi!
I wonder which PATCH should I use to play UO on DREAMS??
Recently I had to reinstal UO. I have patched it to the latest PATCH... and when it starts.... THE CLIENT CRASHES

WHICH PATCH SHOULD I USE not to have this problems?
On which patch do You play?

Patch 5.0.0.b (Patch 19) using 2d client and Razor 0.1.27 and its all working fine for me.

My bro is using 3d client and patched fully this morning, with the same version of Razor - he had some problems straight after that with client crashes but after a restart it was fine.

Are you using razor to log in (recommended) and how far in the process do you get?

I use RAZOR... the latest one... the client crashes even... if I do not use Razor...

The latest patch of UO for today was 5.0.1a I think... and I downloaded it all...

Now I'm playing on patch 4.0.8b and it is ok... but sometimes I get an Error message during the game... possibly because the Items I see are from the PATCH that I do not have...

I also cannot trade LESSER ARTEFACTS of Tokuno... I can se the list of Tokuno Items to Trade but without arrows... I cannot click on them as I used to... and trade it for GREATER Artefact...

Hmmm.. You have Uo samurai empire? You must patch and download server patchwes from uog? Have you downloaded uod patch from gateway? try it it might help

Thats about the limit of my knowledge, it normally works ok about that point.

which might help - give it a go, if it doesn't work then you might have to re-install.

Friends... I have UO Samurai Empire reinstalled yesterday 2 times (completly removing the folder with all the content)... and Windows XP (maybe this is a problem because it has not been reinstalled since a year time...)
I have downloaded patch starting UO.exe and stopping at 4.0.8b because this version really is not crashing my mashine... I'll try to update it to 5.0.0b today... but I think it will not help with the tokuno artefacts exchange...

After you patch UO I would also re-install the latest version of Razor, it has not happened a while for me but that sometimes causes problems after patching too. Also make sure that you have the Microsoft .net framework correctly installed (from microsoft windows update) to run razor.

I had slight problems as Narcof said with the 3D client - which client do you use 2D or 3D. As far as I know the latest patches work just fine for me. If you can let me know how it goes and then I can advise once you have tried the things already mentioned.

Oh and I stayed with the version of Razor I was using before I didn't update this. I am currently using:

Razor : 0.1.25
Client patched up to : 5.0.1a and as I mentioned I play in 3D.

I play 2D client and latest RAZOR also...

When I will update UO to 5.0.0a I will let You know what happened

Have you taken the patches fom uo gateway? Open setting for Uod the push button "Reset patches" and clik uod again

I have reinstalled the whole system... and now have patch 4.0.11. It works ok... This problem is solved

but now my laptop started to shut down at different moments... I think it may be a hardware issue... ahhh

or maybe ur laptop got infected by a virus
