I've recently got mail to my e-mail from ufficiostampa@gamesnet.it asking me to verify my account by sending there a scan copy of my passport ecc that would prove my identity.

I dont know about you other dudes, but hell no, I aint sending my passport - even a copy to someone who I dont know, and even if I would know the person, I still wouldnt.

So if you dont want players to play @ UODreams, then close the whole shard ok? So great to get e-mail like "Send your passport to italy to some stranger and your account will not be removed."

We are making some controls to delete multi accounts, if you wouldn't send a copy of your ID card to Gwineth, your account will be deleted.
Your personal data are safeguarded by the italian law on the privacy, so if you will send the copy to Gwineth, we musn't give to anyone it.

Truthdully i think it's better you send if quickly to her.

Hey everyone who has multi accounts for 1 person - just get ya parents to copy their passport and ya grandma too!

No seriously now - Its time these people get their pennance! But I don't see how this is going to stop it. In our house I have an account and my fiancee has an account along with my brother too. Surely the GMs would be better off doing their job (So far I am unsure if this is possible!!) and check out people logging with the same IP on multiple accounts - its easy just to stealth in the shadow and see if these people are stat gaining/skill gaining or macroing something. Just observe and then ask something and wait for a response. I would personally like something to be implemented where peoples details were logged and they would have to answer a question or too based on their details. This way someone with 3-5 accounts would be hard pushed to be fast in answering questions on the spot. All that would need to be done is each account would need a registration which is certified by a GM before being able to be used and only 1 account per reg. This way control is there - and nobody will sit on boats macroing energy vortexes in Tokuno while their other accounts mined for valorite while they others were artifact hunting in doom! You get my point?

this is a bad idea to stop multi acct.. i think fear stops multi acct the fear of insta ban that you will ban ALL the accounts of the multi accter once you see him loging in two accts wtih one ip and no excuses i mean not even allowed to use a "friends acct" .. nothing more can be done tbh ;|

i havent got a mail, even though my brother made an acc which hasnt been used for a long time (he went to england to work). how can i verify, if it is needed?

more or less as me,i and a friends in a months of october to june(months of university) we live in a studients residence, but in summer not. and we are waiting since june(when we begin to play on this shard)that our submission is verifiked...

PD: one question...today is my birthday and and with two friends want to do a mini-lan this night in my house, 3 friends connect to the same time,(only this night)...have i that tell to a GM or isnt it important??

erm i dont know the offical opinion of the admins , but i think you should report since one ip on three accounts ... they will probably ask you to verify >_< so i guess you should email admins or somthing

Ahahaha you people ^^ Very nice explanations to cover your multiaccounts but i think it wont work :----D I sended a picture of my passport and in 5 minutes I had a reply "Thanks things are ok now" and thats it.. So just send a stupid picture of something importan example of your Injury insure card and thats it you have been proved your self ^^

so i have to lie to make my brother's account legal? he is in england, how the hell am i supposed to give a valid id copy, unless i have to fake one.

yet then again, i havent recieved an email about this issue. the account has been unused and inactive from the day my brother left estonia.

this is not going to stop multi accounters, keffu, you dont seem too smart. those who multi account can always present ids of people, which do not play but need authenticated.

this move should have been thought a little more trough.

Surely your brother can scan some kind of ID and email it you or the GM's? This way all bases would be covered and you get to keep both accounts.....

contacting him would be problematic and costly and wouldnt be worth it, as the account is not being used.

does any admin have time to clarify this? if i have not recieved an email then my account is not in danger, am i right?

spede - be patient, i'm awaiting the confirmation of my lan submission for 5 weeks, and still no answer. Maybe u will be more lucky..
