UODreams is a big shard located in Italy, our purpose is trying to recreate, in the most accurate way, the OSI experience.
Our shard is based on the RunUO emulator. We're actually using the "Pre-Beta36" version.
In order to play here you should take some easy steps.
1° You need to create an account on Gamesnet, that is our "gaming network". This account will be valid also for joining into our Shard.
2° You need obviously to install "Ultima Online" on your PC. We support the AOS (Age Of Shadows: that's the latest UO version) version, so if you want to get a deep and full UO experience, we suggest you to install this one.
3° Then, you should start the OSI autopatch system.. and leave it updating your game until the end of it.
4° Finally you need to change in the installation path the files "client.exe" and "login.cfg" in the correct way for playing here.
5° Now sit back on your chair and just enjoy the UODreams experience.
Now.. some important tips and rules for each of these steps:
1° - Account Creation
Remember that we allow ONLY one account per "physical person". So, remember to be very careful about this. Any kind of violation ot this, will be severily punished.
Be very careful also if other persons will play from your same internet connection, we can notice it, and we can think that you're trying to cheat us, so before using multiple-accounts (i.e.: maybe because also your brother likes to play here) discute about this with the administrators.
This account will be valid both for Game and for the related Bullettin Board.

2° - Ultima Online Istallation
Every version of "Ultima Online" is supported by us, but we suggest you to use the latest one (Age Of Shadows) in order to get the maximum from the game (with older versions you can't see new rideable animals for example..)
However.. indipendently from the version you own, remember to autopatch the game until the LATEST version accordingly to the step 3°.
3° - Autopatching
After the end of the installation of the game, you will need to begin the classic autopatching system of OSI (maybe it can also automatically begin)
It will update your istallation until the most recent version. So you'll need to wait a while.. on the slowest connection (56kbit) it can also take one hour, so please, be patient and wait
Remember that this will take you to the latest version of the game, but will not change the "major version" you own. (i.e: if you own UO:Renaissance, you'll get the latest version of the game, but will be not the same of having UO:Age Of Shadows, ok?)
4° - Configuring UO
You should substitute your login.cfg file with our login.cfg that you can download following this link: http://www.gamesnet.it/gnetdownloads.php?download=131
And you should remove the encryption from your original client. The most easy way for doing this is using UORice. You can download it here: http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e9425109/UO_RICE.zip
So simply run UoRice and it will create in your installation directory the file "No_Crypt_Client.exe". Run this client to join into our shard
5° - Enjoy
