I completely agree with ur idea but as i've always said, we're osi with all ups and downs unfortunately since we're binded to that.

Fortunately here,the gm's are doing a lot of things to "delete" money from the shard. just to give u an example,when an account is banned most of times the stuff in that account is sold by gm's on EVENTS that are called in game (like a quest but the only thing u can do is buying things).

Here the inflation has arrived to crazy levels just think that before all the fixes the most precious artifact was the jackal's collar (on run-uo there werent totem and hom or even inquisitors) so it was about 2 years or more ago....a jackal costed around 7\10kk....within 6 month it arrived at 90\120kk :O...or even an insight that was the first arty i bought 2 year and half ago (i paid medit and magery 120 + 1kk for that) and after sometimes it arrived to cost about 40\50kk...that's really crazy!!!

Most of all,for all of this we gotta thank all the people who macroed afk resources as iron (to sell it),made scrolls to sell them to vendors (they vendors werent fixed so they always bought at the same price, for one particular scroll the price when u sold it was 63gp each -.-).

Or even the factions bug,where in a city u put -30% taxes and in another one +300% so u buy in the first and sell it in the second -.-

fortunately now gm's are doing a lot about it and i really hope the market will gets better (i know it's an utopia,but let's hope)

Well to be honest, they should let items be deleted and removed from the economy.

Yeah it's good that they are always working on fixing it. Nobody can expect it to be fixed over night as that is impossible.


What way does the insurance work? If I die and I lose 2700, does the killer (if its a player) get 2700?

Maybe players should lose the money and the killer not get ANY money.

Because of player insurance, no money is being "deleted" by the server, it is only moving from bank to bank.

like osi,the player who kills gets ur insurance meanwhile if a mob kills u,u lose the double (i kill u,i get 2600gp from u;a dragon kills u,u lose 5200gp). U cannot change this here,unless u dont make osi change it first ^^

Think about the PK?what's good in being a pk if u cant get also money?it's not fair....being pk means u kill and loot,and since nobody brings money with him,the insurance will take care about that REAL GDR

Well about banning i got the same idea as urs,it's not fair for the players who cannot afford to get 90kk of an item in cash.But just think also that there are some minor stuff that is crap for playing but it's cool as a collectable item.
Unfortunately it's a necessary bad thing we need to delete money,so they get money from the in game auction and delete it.
