Hi, my name is Mifune. Allow me to introduce ShardWire, a News, Information, & Resource portal devoted to MMORPG Emulation Communities such as the UO Emu Community. I hope to make this website the very best all-encompassing MMORPG Emu Community resource, with a focus on making life easier for players and admins alike.
Within the next few weeks, I will be starting up a Shard Review service that will provide thorough reviews of a large number of Free Shards. I am currently seeking about 50 people, preferrably players, who would be willing to help gather information and test the gameplay of shards as Shard Reviewers. I am especially looking for people who are experienced as PvP'ers or Roleplayers. The ultimate goal in these reviews is to answer the question, "Is this shard worthy enough for you to invest your time into several characters?"
In about the same time frame, I'm starting up the Shard News service, which will provide quality coverage of many of the shards listed on UOGateway, as well as some that are not. I'm hoping to hire something on the order of 50 people as Shard Reporters. All this job will consist of is checking links and submitting news.
If you are interested in either of these jobs, please go to the Jobs page on ShardWire, at http://www.shardwire.org/index.php?name=Jobs , and submit an email application.
Please note that not just any shard will be considered for being reviewed or reported on. In order to make it easier for players to find shards worth playing, ShardWire will only review and report on shards that meet certain standards, such as a professional-looking website and decent gameplay choices.
ShardWire currently hosts an extensive collection of Player Utilities and MUL Editing Utilities, and fairly soon will be hosting MUL Graphics and an OSI Client Library, so if there's anything that you're looking for, you're more than likely to find it on ShardWire, if not now, then sometime in the near future.

To you shard admins & staff, feel free to submit news about your shard to ShardWire, through the Submit News module. http://www.shardwire.org/index.php?name=Submit_News News can include changes to the shard's staff, script/gameplay changes, or for special quests or events. This would be a great way to attract attention to your shard, for those shards that are struggling in terms of their playerbase.
ShardWire also has a toplist, the ShardWire Top 2000. This toplist already has about 30 shards listed, and is growing every day. ShardWire now receives upwards of 1000 unique hits per day, so joining the ShardWire Top 2000 would be another great way to attract notice to your shard. If you have any questions or comments about the toplist, please post them in this forum: http://www.shardwire.org/index.php?n...viewforum&f=33
For more information about these and other services that ShardWire offers, please read the Introduction page of ShardWire. http://www.shardwire.org/index.php?name=Introduction
Note that because ShardWire is still to be considered "in development" until sometime in August, I may not be able to provide some of these services in full until that time, especially the Shard News, Shard Reviews, and Web Design support.
Please direct all comments or questions to Mifune. You can contact me via ICQ at 171983547, or via email at mifune@shardwire.org. Or, just make a post in the ShardWire forums.
