For mage creature, intelligence and magery, while for full melee creature (as hiryu) the most important proerties are str and dex.
In Both case, train ur pets and they'll gain the correct stats or skill as they involve

mmh...i think in case of rune beetle the most important skill is poisoning...my rune for exemple, has 135 of poisoning and it can poison paragons too

To answere ur second question....i will never pay a pet....i prefere to spend 3 minutes and tame it

not only newbies, i use only ww + nm in all cases, for me most important resistances and stamina, i was ready to pay moer than a lot for good pets, but had to find it myself.

i've returned taming from a soulstone and i'm not going spending time searching them.

It's easy to understand...nobody will buy a pet....

Maybe u can sell lesser hiryus to bushiders....maybe..
